His sunglasses are more famous than we’ll ever be. But for him life wasn’t always this rosy.

He ran away from home at the age of 17 and shortly had a child. He worked as a dishwasher for 3 years to support his family. While scrubbing dishes he believed he was the best dishwasher in the world and worked as hard as he could. He then moved to NYC

His first viral video was criticising the lax policies on battery replacements on IPods in 2003, it was viewed 6 million times. You can notice his DIY style of film-making even in the early years of his career. 

He just loves story telling. Nike asked him to make an ad for their fuel brand, he travelled the world till the money ran out. It lasted 10 days. It was the perfect Nike ad, he just did it

They say you find inspiration from the strangest of places and that stands true. I never knew a random Youtube video I clicked 8 years ago would have such a huge impact on me.

Sweat and blood trumps all. 

After a nasty accident he broke his leg. Doctor’s were doubtful if he could walk again. He ran a marathon a year later to prove them wrong. 

Filming Techniques

Casey is a DIY guy, his films feel hand-made. He has the ability to make a dull mundane story into a vibrant tale which gets his storytelling point across. What sells his style is his authenticity and world views. Many on Youtube are successful but only a few have personality.
